Is Somebody There?? Part 2

We constantly wondered if in fact there was a paranormal presence in the apartment, but for the most part we did it in passing. The girls did not want to talk much about it. After all, denial works great. Time passed and things were fine, nothing major had happened. The laughs and voices coming from the second room became usual for us even when the girls who slept in that room were still somewhat afraid.

One night after having a few glasses of wine, because we're classy...and because two of the girls can't handle hard liquor, someone pulled a deck of cards and said "lets play spirit in the room!". I looked at them and thought "why not?". Apparently they had played it before and the answers always turned out to not go with the question which made it silly and fun to them. So we started to play the game and they were right, it was silly and fun.

Now, take into consideration that with a deck of cards the questions can only be answered with: yes, no, maybe and ask again. That's exactly what makes it funny. So, in the middle of playing someone says "why don't you ask the spirit if it's here for Zia?" So, Eda goes ahead and asks that and then pulls a card...the answer was yes. To keep on with it she asked if it was a male and we got another positive answer. Her third question was "are you nice?" and the answer was no, so she asked "do you like us?" again a no. Things were getting serious so she asked "do you wanna hurt somebody here?" and the answer was yes.

That terrified the girls, but what are the chances it could have been just a coincidence. So we decided to ask basic questions, like am I wearing blue?, is Tay eating chocolate?...really easy and basic things like that. All the answers matched the questions. At that point, the girls didn't want to play anymore. And to this day if I ask them to play they won't agree or they'll pretend I never said it.

A few days after that, I was in the living room working on a paper and Tay comes in goes to her room and then steps out to the balcony to talk on the phone. When she walked out the left the door open and just stood there. I could hear her talking and at some point her voice wasn't as clear as before. But whatever, I thought she just didn't want to be too loud. After about 10 minutes I hear a loud banging on the door, it was Tay she was knocking on the balcony's door. I got up and went over only to realize the door had been closed and locked.

When I opened the door Tay's first words were "why did you closed and locked the door?" and I immediately told her "it wasn't me, I never moved from my spot and nobody else came here". She went to her room and didn't came out until later when all the girls were home, and then she told everyone what had happened. The girls were scared and somewhat concerned. Because it wasn't windy that day and we couldn't blame the wind for closing the door and locking it without one sound.

The incident just did not made any logical sense. And the girls were now more scared than ever so they told me to get rid of it, to make it go away or at least to make it stop. After that day, I sat in my room sitting on my bed alone and I decided to talk to whatever was there. So I said like I was talking to someone I could actually see, "please stop, stop scaring them, do not mess with them please". After that, the girls never said they heard anything anymore. And everything was peaceful and back to normal or so they thought....
