First actual story...yay! However, it is not a personal one! Today I will share with you guys my aunt's experience that scared her the most, and believe me that over the years she developed an incredibly low sense of fear to the unknown! For her it became natural...like seeing living humans walking on the streets. Anyways, here it goes...
There were only two rooms in my grandma's house where my aunt lived and the rooms were only separated by a wall and connected by a door. No hallway between them or anything. When the incident happened both rooms were used (later one of them will be empty most of the time), my uncle slept in one and my grandma and aunt in the other but in separate beds. The two beds were set up in opposite sides of the room, in a way that they left a space right between them (like a crossroad). Now, imagine two dominants sleeping in the same room that's like a portal for everything and anything in other dimensions...yeah, scary stuff.
Well, the night came and as usual my grandma and aunt went to bed. Usually grandma stays up pretty late and sleeps only a tiny bit but in those earlier days she slept more and fell asleep pretty quick. So, that left my aunt's eyes to wander the room on their own. Most of the time nothing happened, everything was calm and quiet and peaceful. However, that one night things were different.
My aunt actually fell asleep...and then woke up later during the night. That alone is a bad sign! She tried her hardest to fall asleep but it didn't work and a few moments later...hello nightmare! The room shared a wall with the living room where the entrance door was, so any and every noise can be heard loud and clear from both sides. And there it was...the sound of steps.
She clearly heard steps throughout the living room. Those steps were accompanied by groans, quiet and long ones. The steps kept getting closer and closer until suddenly she heard the steps in the room. She did not want to look, after all she was young and afraid of what her eyes could meet. After some time and while the steps kept getting closer she decided to take a took. Afraid, she peeked a bit by uncovering her face. What she saw would stay with her forever. It was a large woman, walking in a slow and painful way. With every step she took she groaned in pain. My aunt though that at one point it would approach her but just as the woman reached the crossroad between the beds she stopped. The woman stayed still a few seconds and suddenly just dropped to the ground and disappeared.
That was it, my aunt never saw or heard her again. But she wanted to know why she appeared there and why she disappeared in the spot she did. After some digging she came up with the idea that the woman was killed there and buried in the spot she disappeared. Apparently, before the town became a town criminals who were passing through would bury their gold and money and kill someone to bury along with their treasure so that it could be protected. To this day it is still believed that some ghosts appear only to let you know there is something valuable there so you can get it out because that's the only way they'll also be freed.
Have you heard of this before?? Any money ghosts incidents you know?
